Breaking of Bread

We believe that the Scriptures teach that this meeting should be held weekly on the first day of the week. This act of remembrance and worship is the first thing that we do each week. In the New Testament we find that believers met to break bread every Sunday. (Acts 20 v 7.) The first occurrence of this meeting was when the Lord Jesus met His disciples in the upper room before he went to the cross.  As He broke bread He simply said “This do in remembrance of me.”

From 19 July 2020 our breaking of bread meeting will recommence on Sundays at 10am, God willing.
